Why does the pet smell get so much worse in summer?

Heat and humidity reactivate what's sitting in the carpet. The residue from old accidents holds odour compounds that release faster as temperatures climb, which is why a room that seemed fine in February can smell like the dog again in an Okanagan July. If the smell shows up with the heat, the source is still down there, and that's exactly what the deodorising treatment goes after.

How is this different from regular carpet cleaning?

A regular clean handles general dirt across the whole carpet. Odour and stain removal is a targeted add-on for specific problems, deep accidents, set-in stains, lingering smells, where we treat the area and deodorise it.

Can you remove old stains other cleaners couldn't?

Sometimes. Stains that have set or been scrubbed with the wrong product are the hardest, and some have permanently marked the fibre. We'll tell you honestly what we think we can do.

Can you get rid of smoke smell from a previous owner or tenant?

We can take it out of what we clean, meaning carpet, tile, rugs, and upholstery, and that's often where most of it lives. The honest caveat is that heavy, long-term smoke also settles into walls, ceilings, and ductwork, which cleaning soft surfaces won't fix on its own.
